About our Kindness Club
Do you get upset or concerned when you read the news? Do you wonder what kind of future there will be for our children, the next generation? Does the thought of hospitals filling with all kinds of trauma cases and various health related emergencies? Do you dream of a better world?
If you answer yes, then this kindness club is for you. This kindness club has a goal of doing our part to fulfill the teaching that in the merit of righteous women we will see the final redemption. We are taught that Rachel Imeinu cries for her children and so our goal is to help Rachel the wife of Yaakov to be a happy mother by doing our part towards hastening the redemption.
Our kindness club is an opportunity to tap into your motherly love and kindness whether or not you have children of your own. We tap into the notion that Tzeddakah saves from death, but in order to spread kindness we have to know what kindness is and who to help from a Torah perspective. Some of this will be shared in member only content and some we will discuss in our monthly meetup.
The great sage Hillel taught in Ethics of our fathers “If I am not for myself, who will be for me, and if I am only for myself who am I and if not now, when?” We use this teaching to create two levels to our membership / club. The first is support for us as women to function more effectively as Jewish women. The second level is for you to participate in assisting widows and orphans.
Ruby - Women's Empowerment Circle
The first tier is our Ruby Tier. This level is all about women supporting each other so that we can fulfill our potential has strong, united women. By strengthening ourselves and the others in the group we gain the resources to give to those in our inner and wider circles effectively.
Membership to our Ruby level will receive
- Access to Member Only content
- A monthly kindness challenge. This can be to work on increasing gratitude, a compliment challenge or a random act of kindness challenge
- A monthly meetup via Zoom. This meet up will begin with 10 minutes of Tehillim together, followed by discussion related to the kindness challenge of the month. Women will also have the opportunity to gain support for their own unique needs that arose that month.
Diamond - Assisting our Widow's Haven
Our second tier is our Diamond Tier. This level is for those who are ready to spread kindness to others. Women in this level will have the opportunity to participate in our Widow’s Haven offering kindness to widows and orphans.
Membership to our Diamond level will receive:
- Access to Member Only content where we share information and progress with the widows and orphans we assist, ass well as tips about Ahavas Chessed, the Torah’s teachings on kindness
- A monthly meetup via Zoom.
- Participation in putting together kindness packages to assist the widows and orphans we assist. For those interested or able to contribute more than the monthly membership fee, please be in touch.
