Online Kallah Lessons

Mazal Tov, you have just got engaged. As you prepare for your upcoming wedding, one of the details that requires your attention is completing your Kallah lessons.
We offer Kallah lessons, to learn the Laws of Family Purity, via Zoom, giving you the opportunity to learn from the comfort of your own home. Some Kallot ellect to learn during their lunch hour at work, although this might be a little distracting. Wherever you decide to learn, the fact that we learn via Zoom gives you the freedom to save that traveling time and conserve your energy for the important details of preparing for your wedding.

TIMES: Learning takes place 10 am – 6 pm Israel time, Sunday to Thursday except for fast days and Chagim.
WHAT: Our lessons are text based. We have several Seforim that we use depending on your Hashkafa. Our Kallah lessons are endorsed by Rabbi Fischel Jacobs author of Family Purity: A Guide to Marital Fulfilment. This is the main book that we use, however we do have another book for our Sefardi Kallot.

If you take a look at Rabbi Jacob’s book, you will see there are 15 chapters that we need to cover. How long it takes you to work through the material depends in part on your familiarity with certain concepts e.g. Hallachic times, how many questions you might have and how quickly you understand and follow the material. We work according to your pace and needs.

Lessons are an hour at a time at an hourly rate of ₪250, payable in advance of the session. How many lessons you have per week depends in part on how much time there is before your wedding in which to cover the necessary material.

Once we have completed the material, we offer a thorough test to help you to determine how well you understand and remember the material and whether you have further questions. Upon completion of the test, we provide a letter for you to take to the Rabbanut wherever you are getting married.
For those who are interested, your Chatan can learn the same material with Rabbi Eliyahu Shear, a Chatan teacher who is also certified by Rabbi Fischel Jacobs. This gives you the opportunity to study the same material with the same insights and focus, making sure that your approach to Family Purity will be the same.

Kallot who complete the course with us will receive our Mikvah checklist as a gift.

For those who are already married and need a refresher, we offer refresher courses tailored to the areas that you need assistance with. Where necessary we can go through the full material again. Refresher courses are possible in small groups too. Get a group of your friends together and we can work through the material in a group Zoom meeting.
